Responsibilities
- Perform emergency plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance during night shifts
- Diagnose and resolve pipe bursts, clogs, leaks, and fixture malfunctions
- Install and repair water heaters, sump pumps, and gas lines per local codes
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance for commercial properties
- Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of materials and tools
- Collaborate with dispatch team to prioritize emergency calls and optimize routes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and EPA regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber license or equivalent reciprocity
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability for evening/overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical stamina for confined spaces and heavy lifting
- Certification in backflow prevention preferred
