As a Night Shift Plumber, you will be the first line of defense for our clients, handling critical leaks, clogs, and installations after hours. This is a high-impact role that offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the satisfaction of solving problems instantly.
Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Rapidly diagnose and repair emergency plumbing issues (burst pipes, major leaks, sewage backups) during night hours.
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform routine plumbing inspections and install new fixtures, pipes, and appliances on commercial and residential properties.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues clearly, and ensure satisfaction even under pressure.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize your truck inventory, ensuring all necessary tools and parts are available for the shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols while working.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports, time logs, and invoices after every service call.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman Plumber License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience, with specific experience in emergency repairs preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipe fitting, welding (optional), pipe threading, and using diagnostic equipment.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform strenuous manual labor in all weather conditions.
