Responsibilities
- Perform emergency plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, and fixture installations during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Diagnose and resolve complex pipe bursts, leaks, and water heater malfunctions in residential/commercial settings
- Install and maintain water supply systems, sewage lines, and gas pipes per NYC building codes
- Utilize trenchless technology and hydro-jetting equipment for minimal disruption
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain inventory of parts/tools
- Provide exceptional customer communication during after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial/residential plumbing experience with night shift preference
- NYS Master Plumber license or equivalent journeyman certification
- Expertise in backflow prevention, pipefitting, and fixture installation
- Proficient with diagnostic tools (pipe cameras, leak detectors)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
