Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by performing basic tasks as directed.
- Measurement & Layout: Read and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate work.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driverβs license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and work well in a team environment.
- Safety Compliance: Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is mandatory.
