Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, leveling, and excavation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople by fetching tools and materials as needed.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Measure, cut, and handle basic materials as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (preferred).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple measurements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Experience in construction or landscaping is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
