Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, drills) safely and effectively
- Perform debris removal and job site cleanup to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and project instructions
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Support diverse projects: residential renovations, commercial builds, infrastructure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or landscaping experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in varying weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
