Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare building materials for job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks and project execution.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport heavy materials across job sites using dollies, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials (wood, drywall, etc.) as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team.
