Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup tasks
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant worksite
- Assist with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to safety protocols and PPE compliance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Cleveland metro
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
