Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup operations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Assist with scaffolding setup, demolition, and debris removal
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, prolonged standing)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
