Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform routine site inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (for equipment transport)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Philadelphia
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
