Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/un construction materials and transport equipment as needed
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and prolonged standing
- Complete daily time logs and report equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (we provide training)
