Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform demolition, excavation, and debris removal following OSHA protocols
- Read blueprints and safety manuals to execute tasks accurately
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to site safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Participate in daily briefings and project milestone celebrations
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours with scheduled breaks
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
