Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job site storage
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Complete daily timesheets and adhere to project schedules
- Participate in team briefings and communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-site shifts
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Valid state ID or driver's license for verification
- Willingness to learn construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Minneapolis metro
