Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and tool management
- Operate basic machinery (saws, drills, compactors) following strict safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints to ensure accurate task execution
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project lifecycle
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions to site supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Previous construction or manual labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammers, tape measures, levels)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
