Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation and site setup
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials using proper lifting techniques
- Perform demolition and debris removal with team coordination
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and daily equipment checks
- Complete daily progress reports for project managers
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid state ID or driver's license for equipment certification
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Milwaukee County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration
