Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Assist in erecting scaffolding and temporary structures
- Maintain equipment and tool cleanliness/functionality
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
