Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and operate hand/power tools safely
- Maintain clean job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Perform general labor tasks including concrete work, framing support, and debris removal
- Assist in equipment operation (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
