Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform basic demolition, excavation, and landscaping tasks
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Support team members with general construction duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Basic tool knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
