Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, carrying materials, and debris cleanup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and follow instructions
