Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, mixing, and installation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by clearing debris and securing materials
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions for task execution
- Support site preparation including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and carrying
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and tools
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Experience with residential/construction sites preferred but not required
