Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and power equipment safely
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform trenching, shoveling, and concrete finishing tasks as directed
- Assist with scaffolding setup and equipment maintenance checks
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory management tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
