Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work zone
- Read basic blueprints and execute verbal instructions accurately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs)
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift heavy objects
