Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and electricians with material preparation and site setup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment as directed
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for task execution
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Perform site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Support multiple project types including framing, concrete work, and renovations
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Availability for early morning or weekend shifts
