Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform debris removal and site cleanup to maintain safety standards
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and blueprints
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, and basic machinery
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid work authorization
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Long Beach
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
