Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely (hammers, saws, drills)
- Clean and maintain job sites to comply with OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Support demolition and renovation activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
