Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety compliance
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques and machinery operation
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with task-specific support and material handling
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to OSHA and company protocols
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Complete daily timecards and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Background check and drug screening required
