Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing with precision
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades professionals
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, etc.) and heavy equipment
- Ability to read technical blueprints and construction documents
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
