Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently for excavation, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and installation of building components
- Perform site cleanup and waste management in compliance with environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
