Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching operations using hand/power tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by sorting debris and operating basic machinery
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and demolition tasks as needed
- Operate light equipment like jackhammers and saws under supervision
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Complete basic equipment maintenance and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and overtime
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of construction safety principles
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
