Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finish carpentry under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate construction equipment (bobcats, forklifts) with proper certification
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications from lead contractors
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to meet construction deadlines
- Conduct quality checks on completed work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Seattle metro
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
