Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and compactors
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings and supervisor instructions
- Maintain tool inventory and equipment daily inspection logs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to learn new skills
