Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, etc.)
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and daily tool inspections
- Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and overtime
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques
