Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical components
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or higher)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
