Responsibilities
- Assist with Construction Projects: Support skilled tradespeople in various on-site tasks, including framing, drywalling, and basic carpentry.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment safely at the job site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, setting up temporary barriers, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and navigating construction sites in all weather conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring work meets project specifications and safety codes.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and follow instructions accurately.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for safety hazards and quality control.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we train enthusiastic candidates.
