Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rocks, and vegetation.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Assist skilled tradespeople by operating power tools and equipment such as saws, drills, and compressors under supervision.
- General Assistance: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed to ensure smooth workflow.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, shoveling, and disposing of waste.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials and work areas meet quality and safety specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager to gain experience in the construction industry with on-the-job training.
- Documentation: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
