Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removal of debris and waste to maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery, such as hand trucks, levels, and power washers, under supervision.
- Follow all project blueprints, safety guidelines, and site regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and the willingness to wear required PPE.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in construction labor is a plus but not strictly required; we provide on-the-job training.
