Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare job sites by removing debris, laying out materials, and ensuring the area is clean and safe for operations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople by providing necessary labor and tools as directed.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep work areas organized; perform basic cleaning and maintenance of hand and power tools.
- Demolition & Removal: Assist in the safe demolition of structures and removal of waste materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing, walking, and climbing on uneven terrain.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with common construction hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle required for commuting to various job sites.
- Safety Gear: Must possess or be willing to purchase standard safety equipment, including steel-toed boots.
