Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and compressors, under the supervision of a supervisor.
- General Labor: Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assisting with framing, drywall installation, or masonry.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Act as a liaison between site supervisors and other crew members to relay important information clearly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
