Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup and material staging
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain organized and safe work areas according to OSHA standards
- Support carpenters and skilled tradespeople with project tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic understanding of English communication for safety protocols
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to complete required safety certifications
