Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup, debris removal, and material staging
- Transport and handle construction materials safely using proper techniques and equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople by passing tools, mixing materials, and performing basic tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., drills, saws)
- Read and interpret simple instructions and blueprints to complete assigned tasks
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided!
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
