Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Operate basic hand tools and light machinery under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Support demolition, excavation, and foundational work with precision and teamwork
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and quality control checks
- Participate in sustainable construction practices including waste sorting and recycling
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members on progress and issues
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – full training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic literacy and math skills for measurements and material counts
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
