Responsibilities
- Assist with various construction tasks including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks as directed.
- Measure, cut, and fit building materials accurately to specifications.
- Perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
