Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in cleaning, preparing, and securing construction sites before and after work shifts.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely under the supervision of senior tradespeople.
- Support Trades: Provide general assistance to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Documentation: Help with basic site tracking and inventory checks when required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on uneven surfaces.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and coworkers.
