Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise task execution
- Manage material inventory and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Class B CDL license preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work overtime and weekend shifts as required
