Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain equipment safety and basic tool maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Assist in setting up/breaking down scaffolding and temporary structures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, levels, saws)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
