Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians, with various tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery safely and correctly.
- Clean and prepare job sites, remove debris, and ensure areas are ready for work.
- Follow all safety protocols and site-specific regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and mixing tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
