Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized work zones
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report safety concerns
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction experience or relevant trade certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
