Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (training provided)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain organized job sites per safety protocols
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Collaborate with diverse teams on residential/commercial sites
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to safety procedures (OSHA training provided)
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Positive attitude and commitment to punctuality
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (company-sponsored)
- Local Virginia Beach residency preferred
