Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Inspect electrical components and diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and safety regulations
- Provide emergency troubleshooting and repair services
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on installations
- Document work performed and maintain service records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with NYC electrical codes and permitting processes
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
