Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards (OSHA).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication and professional site cleanup.
- Assist in the inspection of new construction and renovation projects.
- Complete all required documentation, including time sheets and job reports, promptly.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Journeyman Electrician license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain reciprocity for Virginia).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential and commercial settings.
- Tools: Own or have reliable access to a comprehensive set of hand and power tools.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between job sites.
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, circuit breakers, and wiring systems.
- Background: Clean criminal background check and drug screen required.
